Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Editor to lead a team of
editors and coach local women journalists in crafting exceptional
stories across various topics.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with reporters to identify news trends and guide story
development
Lead pitch meetings and conduct regular check-ins with reporters to
support their growth
Partner with the product team to optimize story presentation and
engage audiences
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of newsroom experience
Experience covering civil liberties, global health, and/or the
environment
Proven ability to manage and mentor a diverse team of reporters and
editors
Familiarity with digital storytelling tools and audience engagement
strategies
Commitment to ethical journalism and amplifying underrepresented
voices
