responsible for helping to craft and implement analytics-driven
solutions for the foundation's most pressing human capital
priorities. You support the foundation's organizational and team
efficiency work, headcount planning and management, and workforce
analytics. You deliver the output of multivariate cross-purpose
analyses into useful insights that enable the foundation to improve
its processes and decision-making strategies. You craft, build, and
maintain HR's workforce data pipeline and all business intelligence
products that leverage workforce data. You will serve as a key
partner and consultant to leadership within HR, Operations and with
cross-foundation leadership. What You'll Do
- Design, document, implement and maintain business intelligence
products in support of cross-functional workforce analytics
initiatives including headcount management, operations, HR, and
internal communications reporting needs.
- Partner with analytics, HRIS, and business teams to maintain
and improve the data models that feed business intelligence tools
and other workforce data and reporting needs across the
organization.
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new
API integrations to support ongoing data, analysis and reporting
needs.
- Perform investigation and analysis required to troubleshoot
data and system related issues and assists in the resolution of
those issues.
- Use data and analysis methodologies to address business
questions or problems and uncover insights that support foundation
leaders in making strategic, data-informed decisions.
- Provide ad hoc data, analysis, and reporting (data
visualization) results in support of foundation programs, policies
or initiatives. Present resulting analysis, context and key
insights to senior leaders.
- Build technical documents and white papers summarizing
analytics research projects, including executive summaries for
presentation to senior and executive leadership.
- Partner with IT and Director of People Data & Technology to
develop strategy for long term data platform architecture.
- Support inclusive culture through modeling behaviors and
actions; call out issues in a timely fashion to appropriate
partners.Your Experience
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent proven experience, preferably
in quantitative social or physical science, statistics, data
analytics, mathematics, or computer science.
- 5+ years of experience in people analytics or other relevant
sector with exposure to people/HR data or other critical data types
- Familiarity with descriptive and basic inferential statistics
to understand usage behaviors and generate and test hypotheses.
- Intermediate experience and proficiency in a variety of
analytical platforms, software languages, and statistical tools:
Microsoft Office, data warehouse and management tools (e.g. Azure,
SQL, AWS, Redshift), data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI,
Tableau), data preparation and manipulation tools (e.g. MS Fabric,
Alteryx, Python, Databricks), enterprise survey platform
administration and utilization (e.g. Qualtrics, UKG, Culture Amp,
Glint), and multivariate statistical platforms and/or languages (R,
SAS, Stata, SPSS).
- Intermediate experience in people analytics or another relevant
sector with exposure to human resources data or other sensitive
data types.
- Experience using appropriate statistical techniques to mitigate
bias, interpret statistical significance, and establish sufficient
sample size.
- Experience applying and integrating descriptive and basic
predictive analyses to develop strategic and operational insights
for human resources and organization-wide decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with
experience distilling and communicating sophisticated data analyses
and insights to large and small, technical and non-technical,
audiences.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, apply prudent judgment, and
implement proactively with multiple partners across various levels
of the organization.*Must be able to legally work in the country

salary range for this role is $127,400 to $191,200 USD. We
recognize high-wage market differences in Seattle and Washington
D.C., where our offices are located. The range for this role in
these locations is $138,900 to $208,300 USD. As a mission-driven
organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our
mission. New hires salaries are typically between the range minimum
and the salary range midpoint. Actual placement in the range will
depend on a candidate's job-related skills, experience, and
