Radiology Interventional Technologist at Swedish Health Services summary: As a Radiology Interventional Technologist, I assist in various technical procedures, including minimally invasive interventions and biopsies, while ensuring high-quality patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department. I maintain in-depth knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic supplies, monitor patient conditions, and support physicians in an aseptic environment. Additionally, my role involves participation in on-call shifts as needed, contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients. Description Assists with the performance of a variety of technical procedures including but not limited to percutaneous interventions, diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures, invasive procedures, biopsies, etc, under the direct supervision of a physician. Participates in all daily duties necessary to perform high-quality patient care and imaging within the Interventional Radiology Department. Responsible for obtaining optimal radiographs and assisting the physician in an aseptic environment. Must be capable of patient monitoring and demonstrate knowledge of appropriate response to changes in patient condition. Must maintain in-depth knowledge of complex diagnostic and interventional supplies and equipment and be capable of assisting with their use. Must be available for on-call shifts as necessary.   • Successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
  • Upon Hire:
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists --or--
  • National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International
  • Within 1 Year of Hire:
  • National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography --or--
  • National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography --or--
  • National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography
  • Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications:
    • Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association upon hire.
