local law.Technical Project ManagerZeno is seeking a highly
motivated Technical Project Manager to support the mission-oriented
efforts of developing and bringing to market Radioisotope Power
Systems (RPS) technologies. In this role you will:
- Initiate project management framework and architecture for
Zeno's first-of-a-kind RPS projects
- Coordinate multi-year schedule and cost inputs from Zeno
stakeholders, including government agencies, the U.S. Department of
Energy, National Labs, and contractors
- Ensure sound project management methodology is applied for
control of the projects by implementing and enforcing baseline
schedule and costs
- Manage, evaluate and make recommendations to the VP of
Engineering for proposed schedule and cost baseline change control
requests
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring Zeno's, contractors'
and National Labs' performance meets the baseline schedule and cost
requirements
- Support procurement activities such as procurement document
development, acquisition, execution, and contract close out
- Provide high-level technical input and recommendations from a
project management perspective on key hardware design
decisions
- Assist with the development and refinement of Zeno project
management best practices, policies and proceduresKey
Qualifications and Skills
- B.S. or higher in an engineering discipline from accredited
university with > 6 years of engineering management or project
management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing
schedules and costs in an aerospace or nuclear environment
- Strong understanding of baseline change control and
configuration management
- Project Management Professional certification is desired
- MS Project or equivalent schedule management software
experience required
- Atlassian product suite (i.e. Confluence and Jira) experience
strongly preferred
- Experience managing a first-of-a-kind or engineering design
project strongly preferred
- Candidate must be a self-starter and possess ability to
coordinate and lead a project management effort with minimal
direction
- Able to meet deadlines and perform under pressure in an
uncertain environment
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skillsJob

- Position requires in-office presence in Seattle (South Lake
Union) or DC (Mt. Vernon/Chinatown) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and
Thursdays, remote work is optional on Mondays and Fridays.
- Travel: Travel is required, 10%-15%Compensation and BenefitsThe
anticipated salary band for this position is $125,000-175,000. The
final job level and compensation will be determined by various
factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, years of
relevant experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and
other business considerations.In addition to competitive
