Job Description:
Remitly, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to
own and shape areas of technology stacks to bring business-critical
features to customers. Develop tools and automation techniques to
deploy and monitor software applications with strong safety nets
and low operational overhead. Develop advanced, well-instrumented,
and well-documented infrastructure tools and systems to ensure fast
paced and impactful customer experiences. Create software solutions
for complex technical problems across multiple systems. Evaluate
new technologies and industry best practices to identify trends and
scenarios to advance Remitly's technology platform and ensure
continuous improvement. Mentor junior engineers.

Position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Technology, or a
related STEM field, and 2 years of experience with software design,
development, testing, and implementation. Experience must include 1
year of experience with each of the following: building scalable
services and distributed systems; delivering high-quality,
high-readability, and scalable software solutions; driving
technical designs within a team; full-stack development, product
development, and web development; mentoring junior engineers; and
with AWS, Go, Java, JavaScript, OAUTH, PHP, Python, React, and
TypeScript. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the United
States based on manager approval.
Job Location: Seattle, WA
Rate of Pay: $180,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
