Rebate Analyst

We are looking for a Rebate Analyst who exercises great judgement and has the drive to innovate. In this role, you will partner with sales managers and your fellow teammates using exceptional communication, problem solving, and analytical skills. This includes understanding complex topics and articulating them simply. You will be an influential resource for multiple teams across Weyerhaeuser, providing knowledge and support for all things rebates. In this role, your essential functions are to: Interface with stakeholders: Dialogue with sales managers, sales representatives, and financial analysts. Provide detailed reports for key customers, both recurring and ad-hoc. Work directly with external distributors to capture 3rd party sales data. Administer rebate processes: Manage approval process for rebate commitment and payment. Calculate and verify rebate payments. Utilize external sales data in rebate calculations. Business Controls: Accurately create, review and book monthly journal entries for rebates. Maintain reconciliation files to verify application accuracy and interface integrity. Monitor liability balances and provide data for account reconciliation. Data management: Maintain rebate agreement configurations in a dynamic application. Assist with validation of customer groupings and other parameters. Work with external data from multiple sources for import into a single source of record. Analytical support: Review growth targets for customer contracts and agreements. Use data collected to forecast rebates and their effect on earnings. BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline 3+ years combined experience in accounting, finance, or audit Strong financial, analytical, and technical skills Intermediate Microsoft Excel skill Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both written and verbal Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to work across diverse teams Preferred Prior work experience with SAP Familiarity with wood products industry Our investment in you: Clear and transparent role progression focused on your development Competitive starting salary with annual bonuses via participation in our Annual Incentive Plan Paid vacation, health benefits, 401K matching and retirement plan contributions A flexible work policy that allows you to work remote two days per week What We Offer: Compensation : This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $81,300-$122,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. Benefits : When you join our team, you and your dependents will be offered coverage under our comprehensive employee benefits plan, which includes medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and life insurance. We offer a pre-tax Health Savings Account option which includes a company contribution. Other benefit options are also available such as voluntary Long-Term Care and Employee Assistance Programs. Retirement : Employees can enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary. Paid Time Off or Vacation : We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
